If a person is dismissed solely on the basis of his or her skin colour, this is discrimination. Such activity is unacceptable.
If, however, a person is dismissed for any other reason (such as non-performance of duties or absence from work), there is no discrimination. In this case, the reason for dismissal is due to another reason (such as absence from work) and not to a person’s skin colour. For these reasons (such as absence from work) a person with any skin colour would be dismissed.
