No. It is forbidden for an employer to ask the applicant for information on pregnancy, childbirth, parenthood and family responsibilities.
Similarly, pre-contractual negotiations or any other form of preparation for the conclusion of an employment contract may not require the applicant to provide information, which is disproportionate to the private life of the applicant or does not relate to suitability for the job offered. Such questions include, but are not limited to, the candidate’s marital status, the existence of children and family responsibilities.
