The only woman on the rescue squad

It’s great for the entire team when a person is doing a job that they enjoy and that suits them well. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a man or a woman who gives this kind of encouragement to their colleagues.

Let’s see what Miina’s colleagues think of her.

Miina is a woman. Miina has done a lot of sports since she was a child. She likes to overcome difficulties and challenge herself. That’s why Miina wants to work for the Rescue Board. But Miina’s husband doesn’t like her plan. Miina’s husband thinks the job of a rescuer is too difficult and dangerous. Miina’s husband wants her to choose an easier job. Miina convinces her husband that she is perfectly capable of doing the job of a rescuer. Miina successfully passes the tests to get a job at the Rescue Board. She now works for the Rescue Board. Miina is often the only woman among the men on duty in her rescue unit. Miina contributes to the work on an equal footing with men. The men even say that thanks to Miina, they are making more of an effort too. Miinas husband is no longer worried either. He is now proud of his wife. People are good at the work they like doing. In Estonia, there are no jobs just for women or just for men.
